Study on Spent Fuel Accident Source Term Estimation Method

  • Unprecedented attention is paid to the safety of spent fuel after Fukushima accident. One module of the emergency aided decision code STEM used for spent fuel source term estimation, was introduced in this paper. The validity of the code was substantiated by RASCAL 4.2. Source term estimation module for spent fuel accident in STEM code can provide vital information for consequence assessment of a nuclear power plant accident.
