Modification and Improvement of Fuel Management Strategy of Second Cycle in Qinshan Project Ⅱ

  • In the construction design of nuclear power plant, there is too much restriction in the reloading pattern of the second cycle, and it is difficult to satisfy the requirement of fuel cycle length. The fuel management strategy of the second cycle in Qinshan project Ⅱ was modified and improved continually. The objective of annual operation in its 4 units was accomplished, and the fuel management and plant economy were increased. The experience is much helpful and could be implemented on the same type plants.
