Development of LVDT Type Single Point Level Gauge for Liquid Metal

  • A type of single point liquid metal level gauge based on the principle of linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) was studied, and the performance of single point liquid metal level gauge was tested. The test results show that it can work well for a long time under 0.650 ℃ and not be affected by many factors such as temperature. The measurement precision of the level gauge is better than ±2 mm when measuring the liquid metal level position. With the exclusive drive mechanism, it can realize continuous measurement of liquid metal level position.
