Analysis of ADS-4 Entrainment and Depressurization Experiment Scaling for AP1000

  • In this paper, the limited diameter, reduced height and scaling analysis with identical working fluid were conducted on AP1000 ADS-4 entrainment and depressurization process, which consisted of ADS-4 branch line entrainment scaling, RCS depressurization scaling and reactor upper plenum entrainment scaling. The reasonable dimensionless criteria of relative thermal-hydraulic phenomenon were chosen and derived by analyzing conservation equations. Experimental geometric and thermal-hydraulic parameters were finally obtained.
