Application of GASFLOW into Analysis of Loss of Coolant Accident for HTR-PM

  • The validity of the reactor cabinet pressure loading capacity of HTR-PM following a loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA) stands as the main object for reactor safety analysis. By comparing the computation results of FLUENT, GASFLOW and RELAP5, it is found that GASFLOW acts as the most suitable software for analyzing pressure loading capacity under LOCA with coolant discharging into reactor cabinet, because of its special features which balance between computation efficiency and reliability.
