Seismic Analysis of Auxiliary Feedwater System Tank in Nuclear Power Plant

  • The seismic analysis on auxiliary feedwater system (ASG) tank in M310 type nuclear power plant was carried out according to ASCE 4—98 by using finite element method which was based on shell model. The seismic buckling assessment was finished on requirement of subsection J of RCC-M. The response acceleration spectra as seismic input were used for analysis. The results show that some risks of seismic buckling on the original design of the ASG tank exist. And some suggestions about structural design analysis were given.
