Calculation Method of Small 135Xe Reactivity for TOPAZ-Ⅱ Reactor

  • Due to the very low neutron flux density of TOPAZ-Ⅱreactor, the 135Xe reactivity is too small for the Monte Carlo code to get the accurate results. In this paper, the adjoint neutron flux was taken into account, and the MVP-BURN code was used to calculate small 135Xe reactivity. This method can also provide a reference for the calculation of small reactivity for other reactors.
