Development of Dual-perspective 60Co Container Inspection System

  • The research introduced the basic principles and characteristics, system structure, performance index and application of dual-perspective radiography technology using one radioactive source. The technology can obtain two different perspective transmission radiography images of container solely by adding a set of detector array, so as to realize the three-dimensional inspection, effectively improve the image inspection resolution of overlapping objects and rod-shaped object, and significantly improve the detection efficiency of concealed weapons. The dual-perspective container radiography inspection technology is an important development of the conventional single-projection container inspection technology, and has been widely equipped in China customs ports. It has achieved great economic and social benefit.
