Correlation Sodium Flow Measurement System Design Based on Labview

  • In order to meet the requirement of calibration of sodium flowmeters installed on the bypass loops of primary pumps on primary circuits of China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR), a correlation sodium flow measurement system based on Labview was designed. The principle of correlation measurement technology, the correlation sodium flow measurement system, the simulation experiments and experiments on the sodium loop for the system were introduced. The experiment results show that the system is feasible. The measurement errors were analyzed, and methods on how to reduce the errors were given. The system and experiments provide references for the design, debug and operation of the system for in-service calibration of the sodium flowmeters installed on the bypass loops of primary pumps on primary circuits of CEFR.
