Study on Adsorption Performance of U(Ⅵ) on Sawdust Quaternary Ammonium Salt Type Chelate Adsorbent

  • The sawdust quaternary ammonium salt type chelating adsorbent (MS) was prepared by chemical modification of raw sawdust to strengthen the sawdust adsorption performance of U(Ⅵ) in waste water of uranium. The MS keeps high adsorption ability at the MS dosage of 0.1 g/L, adsorption time of 2 h, pH=4.5 and adsorption temperature of 30 ℃, and the adsorption rate is 99.7%, which increases by 26.9%. The used MS can be desorbed by 0.1 mol/L HCl (the first desorption rate is up to 99.9%) and becomes reusable. The MS shows the better repeatability.
