Development of Auto-product Facility for ¹²⁵I Source

An auto-product facility was developed by CAEP in order to improve the automatic production of ¹²⁵I source. The facility is installed in the shielding-box, and the actions of locating the shell, incasing the core, laser sealing and uninstalling source are implemented automatically. The facility has the advantages such as high success rate of laser sealing, low manual labor, and easiness to shield for radiation safety.
