Development and Numerical Verification of Dynamic Rod Worth Measurement Code LIGHT

  • The dynamic rod worth measurement is a method of quickly predicting bank worth of control rods. Based on measure process and correlative numerical method of reactor core physics, the dynamic rod worth measurement code LIGHT was developed. The parameters used in dynamic rod worth measure process could be got from LIGHT. These parameters were static spatial factor, dynamic spatial factor and delayed neutron parameter. The precision of numerical verification results for benchmark problem and AP1000 nuclear power plant is high. It is shown that the development of numerical model and code is right.
