Application in Uncertainty Analysis for SCOPE Test with Nonparametric Statistics Method

  • The purpose of SCOPE test is to verify the steam/air condensation correlation within the parameter variation range of CAP1400 passive containment cooling system. The condensation correlation was used for containment response analysis input. The uncertainty analysis is one important aspect of test data analyses, which is meaningful to the assessment of test results. Nonparametric statistics with WILKS correlation were used to acquire Sherwood number uncertainty. The consistent method for Sherwood number uncertainty analyses was implied in the paper, which may be conveniently applied to the other test data analyses and also valuable to the engineering project.
