Assessment and Insight on Seismic PRA for NPP

The seismic risk assessment was done for a specific mega-kilowatt class nuclear power plant. Site specific seismic hazard curves and seismic fragility curves for equipment of the plant were developed. The seismic probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) model was done and the quantification evaluation was completed. The seismic risk results and insights for the plant were presented finally. The results show that the seismic risk of the plant is relatively low and the contribution of the interval between 0.3 g and 0.6 g is the most significant.
