Analysis of Reactor Direct Safety Injection Tube Structure on Thermal Impact

  • The experimental model of direct safety injection of the reactor pressure vessel was established and the heat transfer and flow experiments were carried out. The flow mixing, heat transfer coefficient and the corresponding temperature variation of two different injection tube structures, namely Venturi injection tube and straight tube, in different regions of the pressure vessel were studied in comparative experiment. The flow fields of different safety injection models were verified by visual experiment and the flow resistance characteristics of safety injection under different structures were analyzed. The results show that there is a big difference in flow resistance of different safety injection tubes. The study results provide an important basis for the reactor pressure vessel safety injection tube design.
