Fabrication Development of Deuterated Polymer Shell Used in Fast Ignition Experiment

  • Deuterated polymer shells are one kind of capsule needed in the fast ignition research. Kinds of deuterated polymer shells used in the fast ignition physical experiments were summarized in this paper. The stringent specifications on deuterated polymer shells used in the fast ignition physical experiments and different fabrication methods for these deuterated polymer shells were introduced. The factors affecting the quality of deuterated polymer shells were analyzed and the future development of deuterated polymer shells was also pointed out.
