Application of LBLOCA BEPU Analysis in Independent Review Calculation Based on TRACE Code

  • The certain high power passive nuclear power plant is the first NPP based on standard design in China. The best-estimate plus uncertainty (BEPU) analysis method was used in LBLOCA for independent review calculation based on TRACE code in this paper. And the application of this method was studied. According to the results based on the BEPU method, the peak cladding temperature on LBLOCA condition can meet the acceptance criteria. The calculation results can be used in nuclear safety review as an important section of independent review calculation.
