Study on On-line Monitor Technique of Separative Power at Uranium Centrifuge Enrichment Plant

  • A separative power on-line monitor system at gas centrifuge enrichment plant was developed including two 235U enrichment monitors and one uranium hexafluoride flow-meter, and a set of corresponding software was developed. The enrichment of UF6 flowing through the processing pipes in uranium enrichment plant was measured by enrichment monitors. The UF6 gas flow rate in production pipes was measured by the orifice flow-meter. Finally, the separative power was calculated by 235U enrichment and UF6 gas flow rate in the pipes. The results show that the maximum relative standard deviation between monitoring result and declaration value is less than 2.0%.
