Analysis Method Research on Main Metal Element of Steam Generator Sludge by Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer in Nuclear Power Plant

  • The composition and composition change trend of steam generator sludge play an important role in the evaluation and guidance for the secondary circuit water chemical control in nuclear power plant. Wet digestion-inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry combination method was developed, which was applied on element quantitative analysis of steam generator sludge in nuclear power plant. The major element components contain aluminium, calcium, chromium, iron, magnesium, manganese and nickel with the mass percent content of 0.69%-67.76%. The adding standard recovery rates ranging from 84.3% to 110.7% are obtained. The relative standard deviations of concentration are not more than 0.60% (n=7). The detection limits of the analysis method are in the range of 0.04-3.10 μg/L.
