Analysis of Space Particle Radiation LET Spectra Detecting Result in MEO/LEO and Its Error

  • The linear energy transfer (LET) spectra detector on a middle earth orbit (MEO) satellite realized the LET measurement of MEO for the first time in China. In this paper, the LET spectra detector was introduced, the method of semiconductor ΔE-E telescope was evaluated and the measurement error of the method was given. The detecting result of MEO was compared with that of low earth orbit (LEO), and the result provides important reference for the understanding of LET spectra feature in MEO/LEO.
