Concept Design Scheme of Small Sodium Cooled Fast Reactor Nuclear Power Used for Offshore Oil Drilling Platform

  • Based on the characteristics about user’s demand for electricity of offshore oil drilling platform, a kind of design scheme about small sodium cooled fast reactor nuclear power based on Stirling engine power generation technology was introduced, and the overall technical solution of small sodium cooled fast reactor nuclear power and the design schemes of the primary loop cooling system and the key equipment were studied. The preliminary layout plan of small sodium cooled fast reactor nuclear power was proposed. The results show that the concept design scheme of small sodium cooled fast reactor nuclear power can meet the user’s demand of offshore oil drilling platform for a long refueling period, space limitations, etc.
