Research on Spontaneous Fission Yield of Gas Product for 240Pu with Phenomenological Model

  • Based on the physics of multi-modal random neck rupture, a phenomenological model was developed to study the fission yield of 239Pu neutron-induced fission and 240Pu spontaneous fission system, where the model parameters were determined by the least square fitting with the available experimental data. The yields calculated with the phenomenological model were analysed and reevaluated, and the recommended fission yields of 87,88Kr and 133,135Xe from 240Pu spontaneous fission were presented.
