Abstract
In order to improve the accuracy of γ spectrum analysis for whole body counter measurement, the γ spectrum analysis method based on reconstruction technology was studied. Firstly, the principle frame of the method was established, and then an application experiment was carried out by measuring the BOMAB radioactive-phantom with a NaI stand type whole body counter, and the measurement matrix was calculated by modeling and Monte Carlo simulation. Finally, the nuclide emission spectrum was solved by boosted-Gold algorithm, and the results were compared with those by Genie 2000 software. The results show that the boosted-Gold algorithm can reconstruct the theoretical nuclide emission spectrum accurately when the parameter p is within the range of 1-10, and realize the accurate identification of all nuclides with the activity calculation error of each nuclide less than 10%. This result is significantly better than that of Genie 2000 software.
