Commissioning of 100 MeV High Intensity Proton Cyclotron

  • 100 MeV high intensity proton cyclotron, hereinafter referred to as CYCIAE-100, developed by the China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) is the largest compact high intensity proton cyclotron. Many advanced beam parameters have been obtained. By the end of 2018, the sub-systems and whole machine commissioning were completed. In addition, the CYCIAE-100 has been applied to many physical experiments and keeps running steadily for more than 2 000 h. The process, key technical problems and results in the commissioning of CYCIAE-100 were introduced.
