Study on Cold and Hot State Performance Tests of Test Prototype of Safety Rod System

  • The safety rod system is one of the key equipment of the space nuclear reactor, and it has the characteristics of compact structure, high transmission accuracy, many interfaces with reactor vessel and high operating temperature. The cold and hot state performance test schemes were studied and determined, and the performance tests were carried out by using full-scale safety rod system test prototype and special test facility. The test results show that the test prototype of safety rod system runs normally and its performance meets the design requirements. It provides the conditions for the seismic test of the test prototype, and also provides a reference for the follow-up design of safety rod system and the improvement of the test facility.
