Scheme Design of 330 MW Annular Fuel Small Reactor

  • The matching rule between the fuel enrichment, the refueling batch, the average discharge burnup and the cycle length in small PWR core using annular fuel was studied. The 330 MWt annular fuel small reactor core loading and fuel management scheme was designed according to the design criteria and objectives. The core key performance parameters from transition cycle to balance cycle were calculated and analyzed by using CMS code package. The power non-uniformity factor, the reactivity coefficient and the shutdown margin all meet the requirements of the design criteria, and the core has good physical properties.
