Preparation and Application of High-resolution Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer for Analysis of Hydrogen Isotope

  • In order to meet the needs of research and production of nuclear material in China, high temperature gas-cooled reactor production, and radioactive environmental monitoring, high-resolution isotope ratio mass spectrometer (HR-IRMS) for the analysis of hydrogen isotopes was developed. Using a simple and east-to-operate pressure gas distribution system, a gas distribution device was established. The hydrogen isotope sample was successfully analyzed at a high resolution (up to 2210). The measurement precision is 0.02%, and the relative atomic mass range is 1-150. The HR-IRMS has good stability and accuracy, and hydrogen isotope analysis can be realized directly.
