Study on Fatigue Analysis Method of Nuclear Component Based on Green’s Function Method

  • The Green’s function method is a fast solution method of thermal stress. In this paper, the theory of Green’s function method was stated and the fast Fourier transform (FFT) was used to accelerate the calculation of key integral. The process of fatigue analysis was also discussed, including stress linearization, stress extreme points selection, stresses states pairing by the Rain flow counting method and the calculation of environmental fatigue correction factor. A test case with typical component of the nuclear power plant was conducted to validate the algorithms and programs, comparing with ANSYS solution. The validity of program and algorithm is well proved by the comparison result.
