Analysis of Thermophysical Property of High Temperature Hydrogen

  • Hydrogen is applied extensively in new energy and power, aerospace propulsion, chemical materials and other fields. Based on the study of thermodynamics and transport properties of high temperature hydrogen, the thermophysical properties models of atomic, molecular and dissociated hydrogen were established, and the calculation code Prop_H_H2 was developed in the temperature of 1003 500 K and the pressure of 1045×107 Pa. Code verification shows that the thermophysical properties of hydrogen calculated by Prop_H_H2 are reasonable and reliable. The predicted value of hydrogen is more accurate for the temperature of 2003 000 K and the pressure of 104107 Pa while the relative deviation was about ±5%. This study can provide a reference for the research and application of hydrogen in aerospace propulsion, applied physics, energy and power industries.
