Research Progress on Application of Salt-free Reagent in Purex Process
The progress of organic salt-free reagents using in Purex process in China is reviewed and summarized in this paper. The thermodynamics, kinetics between salt-free reagents and Pu(Ⅳ), Np(Ⅵ) and HNO2 are also reviewed briefly, as well as the process application of several reagents. Furthermore, the application prospect and development direction are analyzed and discussed.
