磁场非线性误差效应的模拟研究

SIMULATION STUDY FOR THE EFFECTS OF NONLINEAR MAGNETIC FIELD

  • 摘要: 磁场非线性误差效应涉及一组非线性微分方程,直接求得其解析解是困难的。本文叙述了计算机模拟研究的方法,可用以对磁铁的场公差进行蒙特卡罗计算,也可用以模拟粒子在磁铁实测误差场中的运动。这一方法在北京正负电子对撞机(BEPC)磁铁场公差的确定和磁铁场性能研究中已得到有效的应用。

     

    Abstract: The effects of non--linear magnetic field involve a set of non--linear differen-tial equations, which is difficult to be solved analytically. A computer simula-tion method is described. Taking the advantage of Monte Carlo technique.it can be applied to determine the tolerance of magnet field, andincorporated with magnet measurment data, the tracking study can be carried outin a imperfect ring. The method has successfully found its application in theBEPC magnet tolerance study as well as field quality evaluation of the magnetprototypes.
