Abstract:
This paper describes the work done in expanding our Beijing Proton LINACControl System to meet more technical requirements. 1. After a little change of the circuits, the CAMAC module 3514--AlA pro-duced by American KS Corporation is used for acquiring the magnitudes of thecurrent pulses of the magnet power supplies, whereas this module is designedfor direct signal acquisition. Therefore, many complicated and expensive NIMsample/Hold modules are spread. 2. In order to set more stable power from the RF system, the timing systemis modified to run in strict synchronization with the frequency of the powernetwork, and a special NIM module is designed.
