Abstract:
The extraction behaviour of uranium(VI) with five crown ethers in 1,2-dichloroethane from hydrochloric acid aqueous solution is studied. Theexperimental results indicate that the distribution ratio of uranium(VI) is relatedwith the concentration of hydrochloric acid, lithium chloride in aqueous phase, and the concentration of crown ethers in organic phase. Using slope method andequimolar series method, the extractive compounds are identified. The extractionequilibrium constants (K) are: K_(18C6)=0.093, K_(DB18C6)=0. 069 K_(DB24C8)=0.086, K_(DCH18C6)=37.1, K_(DCH24C8)=39.7 (μ=5.0, 15℃)
