THE MEASUREMENT OF CONCENTRATION RATIOS OF ~3He TO T ATOMS IN T-Ti TARGETS

Abstract: The concentration ratios of ~3He to T atoms (abbr. ~3He/T) in two titaniumtritade targets have been measured using the deuteron induced nuclear reactions~3He(d, p)~4He and T(d, n)~4He at the energies of 250 keV, 500 keV and 1000keV. The calculated ~3He/T in the two targets, by the disintegrating rate formula, are 6.78% and 56.96% respectively. The determined ~3He/T in the two targets are4.85% and 58.0% respectively.
