超基性岩样中痕量希土元素的中子活化分析

DETERMINATION OF RARE EARTH ELEMENTS IN ULTRABASIC ROCKS BY NEUTRONACTIVATION ANALYSIS

  • 摘要: 文章介绍了用中子活化分析法分析超基性岩样中La,Ce,Nd,Sm,Eu,Tb,Yb,Lu等八个元素的全过程。分析了橄榄岩、斜辉辉橄榄岩等八种岩石样品,用我国地质标样DZ∑-1,GSD-7,DZ∑-2,及国际标样 BCR-1验证了方法的可靠性。检出下限 10~(-10)g/g。

     

    Abstract: A method for the simultaneous determination of 8 rare earth elements inultrabasic rocks by neutron-activation analysis is described. Lanthanum, cerium,neodymium, samarium, europium, terbium, ytterbium and lutetium in eightsamples of periodate and harzburgite are analyzed. The rock samples are alltreated by chemical pre-treatment or radiochemical after-treatment in order toremove impurity elements and to enrich rare earth elements. This method ischecked and its reliability proved using Chinese geology standard samples DZ∑-1,DZ∑-2, GSD-7 and international standard sample BCR-1. The method is suitablefor ultrabasic rocks of 0.1 ng to 1 μg of rare earth elements per gram sample.
