利用统计均匀分布脉冲幅度谱产生器测试MCA的最大可测脉冲率

USING A RUPAS GENERATOR TO TEST OF THE MAXIMUM EFFECTIVE PULSE RATE OF MCA

  • 摘要: 利用统计均匀分布脉冲幅度谱(RUPAS)产生器,研究了多道分析器(MCA)在高计数率工作条件下道址偏移和幅度分辨率改变的某些性质,测定了几种MCA的最大可测脉冲率。测量结果表明:对于给定的脉冲率与脉冲宽度,MCA的道址偏移Δm与随机脉冲幅度平均值E成正比,幅度分辨率Δδ的改变与E成非线性关系。在测试最大脉冲率v_(max)时,用道址相对偏移S,作为鉴别标准比用绝对偏移Δm更为合理。

     

    Abstract: By random uniform pulse amplitude, the channel address shift and the ampli-tude resolution of MCA are studied, the maximum effective pulse rates for severalMCA are measured It is shown that the channel address shift of MCA is propor-tional to E the mean amplitude of random pulses, the change in amplitude resolu-tion of MCA is no-linearity related to the E. It is also shown that as a standard,S_r, the relative channel address shift is more reasonable than Δm, the absolutechannel address shift for the measurement of the maximum effective pulse rate ofMCA.
