萃淋树脂色谱法分离辐照核燃料中的镅钕钐

SEPARATION OF Am, Nd AND Sm IN IRRADIATION FUEL WITH THE LEVETREL CHROMATOGRAPHY

  • 摘要: <正> 一、前言 为了测定辐照核燃料中~(241)Am,~(148)Nd和~(149)Sm的含量,必须把共存的大量铀和微量钚、镎及其它主要裂片元素锆、铌、钌、锶、铯等除去,还要使镅与希土分离才能消除对测量的干扰和满足辐射防护的要求。利用HDEHP在不同介质溶液中对各种金属离子萃取性能的差异以及DTPA对镅和镧系元素络合能力的差异,我们在两个HDEHP萃淋树脂柱上达到了上述分离的目的。第一个柱子是在有氧化剂的高酸条件下进料,使三价的镅和希土与高价态的铀、钚、镎、铈(IV)、锆、铌等金属离子分离。第二个柱子用0.1mol/lHNO_3进料,使镅和希土定量吸附而与锶、铯、钌分离,然后用DTPA淋洗镅使其与三价希土分离。

     

    Abstract: A preseparation procedure for the determination of ~(241)Am, ~(148)Nd, ~(149)Sm inan irradiated nuclear fuel is decribed. The distribution coefficients of Am and Ndon the Levextrel are determined. Am, R.E.(Ⅲ) in 5-8 mol/l HNO_3 solutions withNaBrO_3 as oxidant, pass through the first column and are separated from U matrix,trace of Pu, Np, Ce(Ⅳ) and other elements. The solution containing Am, R.E.(Ⅲ)is adjusted to 0.1 mol/l HNO_3 and injected into the second column. Amand R. E. are isolated from Sr, Cs and other fission products and are separatedfrom each other with 0.07 mol/l DTPA-1 mol/l latic acid. The columns arepacked with HDEHP Levextrel. Separation between Am and R. E. (Ⅲ) is satisfactory. Both ~(241)Am and ~(147)Ndare recovered with >99% yield.
