Abstract:
A procedure for combination fitting analysis on various measured quantities toobtain simultaneously and accurately all neutron resonance parameters is given.Doppler broadening cross sections of resonance shape are calculated with complexprobability intergral. In order to obtain more accurated results and to save thetime of calculation, the Montecarlo method together with an analytical method isused in the calculation of the contribution of multiple scattering. A combinationfitting analysis on eight measured quantities of ~(232)Th including transmission area,capture area and self-indication ratio is performed and the results are satisfactory.
