EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF α-LiIO_3 SINGLE CRYSTAL BECOMING THE CRYSTAL WITH A GRADIENT IN THE LATTICE SPACING BY THE ACTION OF DC FIELD

  • 摘要: <正> 自从发现静电场作用下α-碘酸锂单晶中子衍射增强现象以来,人们对该单晶进行了广泛的研究。为了揭示中子衍射增强的机制,杨桢等根据中子衍射增强的各向异性及摇动曲线半宽度加宽现象,曾提出沿C向加静电场使其C向晶格参数产生相对大的涨落。许政一等根据在偏振锥光下,用显微镜观察到α-碘酸锂单晶中层状缺陷在静电场

     

    Abstract: Under the action of a DC field, the neutron diffraction intensity of α-LiIO_3single crystal is enhanced and the width of the rocking curve is widened. Acoo-rding to the appreciable dependence of the widths of the rocking curve on theincident neutron wavelength, it is shown that α-LiIO_3 single crystal becomes thecrystal with a gradient in the lattice spacing with the application of a DC fieldalong the crystallographic C-axis.
