    Abstract: The advantages of inductive energy storage technology, the functions ofopening switchs, and availability of exploding conductor opening switch are simplydescribed in the paper. The paper first theoretically analyzes the criteria andmethods of the design for three kinds of load that is resistance, inductance, andcapacitance, based on high--voltage pulsed source developed by the OrdnanceEngineering Institute. Finally the paper gives some applications related to this typeof source in brief.
