摘要: 实验证明用丁烷作为流气式正比计数管的工作气体是可行的。与工作气体甲烷相比, 工作电压偏高, 坪曲线无明显差异。该计数器对14 Cβ源有较好的响应。对自行研制的以丁烷作为工作气体、灵敏面积为 5 0cm2 的KX 5 0型可携式α、β污染测量仪, 用平板型2 3 9Puα放射源测得坪曲线的坪长为 6 0 0V, 坪斜每 10 0V为 1 7%, 本底计数率 0 0 2s-1,对α粒子探测效率 η2π(α) =5 3% 用平板形90 Sr 90 Yβ源测得的坪曲线坪长 5 0 0V, 坪斜每 10 0V为 1 8%, 本底计数率为 3s-1,探测效率η2π(β) =6 4%Abstract: It is experimentally proved that the butane can be used as an operating gas of the pro portional counter. The operating performances of the counter with the butane are quite similar to that with the methane. A KX 50 butane flow proportional counter is described and its plateau characteristic is determined. For this counter, the plateau length, the slope of the plateau, the background count rate is 600 V, 1.7 % per 100 V, 0.02 s -1 for 239 Pu α source and about 500 V, 1.8 % per 100 V, 3 s -1 for 90 Sr 90 Y source, respectively.
