固体气泡损伤探测器中子探测效率的刻度

  • 摘要: 在 2× 1 7MV串列加速器上用7Li(p, n) 7Be、T(p, n) 3He、D(d, n) 3He和T(d, n) 4 He核反应产生的 2 0keV~ 19MeV单能快中子对中国原子能科学研究院研制的固体气泡损伤探测器进行了刻度。结果表明 :该探测器对快中子的探测阈能约为 10 0keV, 阈能处中子探测效率急剧上升约 3个数量级, 阈能以上效率曲线基本平坦, 中子探测效率约为 1 5× 10 - 4。这种探测器可用于中子能谱和中子剂量测量

     

    Abstract: A calibration has been carried out on neutron detection efficiency of bubble detectors prepared by China Institute of Atomic Energy at the tandem accelerator 2×1.7 MV by monoe nergetic neutrons of 20 keV~19 MeV from 7 Li(p,n) 7Be, T(p,n) 3He, D(d,n) 3He and T(d,n) 4He reactions. It shows that the bubble detectors have a threshold energy~100 keV. The detection efficiency increases steeply to three order of magnitude at the threshold. The detection efficiency above the threshold is nearly flat with value~1.5×10 -4. The bubble detectors can be used to measure neutron energy spectrum and as neutron dosimeter.
