峰面积比法测量绝对热中子注量率
Measurement of Absolute Neutron Flux Density by Peak Area Ratio Method

摘要: 介绍了利用γ谱仪测量绝对中子注量率的方法。在已知中子场中照射金 (Au)箔和铕 (Eu)箔, 利用γ谱仪分别测量198Au和152 Eu的 4 11keVγ峰面积, 根据两者的峰面积之比和已知中子场的绝对中子注量率, 求得152 Eu的 4 11keVγ峰面积对应的中子注量率。在待测中子场中, 照射金箔, 利用γ谱仪测量其 4 11keVγ峰面积和刻度过的152 Eu的 4 11keVγ峰面积, 根据两者之比和已求得的152 Eu的 4 11keVγ峰面积对应的中子注量率, 确定出待测中子场的中子注量率。该方法避免了不同γ谱仪对能量响应、探测效率和几何条件不同带来的误差。该方法测量结果与其它方法测量结果一致。Abstract: The new method for thermal neutron flux density measurement by γ spectrometer is described. The neutron flux density corresponding to 411 keV γ ray of 152 Eu is obtained according to the 411 keV γ ray peak area ratio of 152 Eu and 198 Au irradiated in reference field and the absolute neutron flux density measurement in reference field obtained by gold (Au) foil activation method. The gold foil is irradiated in the unknown neutron field. The 411 keV γ ray peak area for 198 Au irradiated in unknown field and 152 Eu irradiated in reference field can be obtained by other γ spectrometer. The absolute neutron flux density in the unknown neutron field can be gotten by the peak area ratio and the neutron flux density obtained corresponding to 411 keV γ ray of 152 Eu.
