Abstract:
The PWR fuel assembly have been improving based on the operation experience of reactors and the results of research since the moment when it was found. Nowadays the designed batch average reload burnup of nuclear fuel assemble is up to 52 000 MW·d/t.This paper makes a brief introduction on the present high performance nuclear fuel assemblies which are designed and utilized by four of the main suppliers in the world, and also some of the problems faced by the high performance nuclear fuel assembly are introduced.
