Theoretical and Experimental Investigation on Simultaneous Acceleration of Negative and Positive Ions With Equal q/M in a RFQ Accelerator

摘要: 提出用RFQ加速器同时加速同荷质比正负离子的理论, 并利用现有的RFQ加速装置进行了实验验证。初步结果表明 :采用这一方法可有效提高RFQ加速装置的载束能力。

Abstract: The theory of simultaneous accelerating negative and positive ions with equal q/M in a RFQ accelerator is studied, and the experimental research for it is taken in an ISR RFQ. The results show that the ability of beam load of RFQ accelerator is raised with this method.
