Abstract: A description and review of the stripping agent used in solvent extraction process for treatment of high level liquid waste are presented. 5.5 mol/L HNO 3, which follow (NH 4) 2CO 3 for TRPO process and acetohydroxyamic acid for TiBOPDA process are considered to be effective stripping agent.
