Abstract:
The optical stimulated luminescence of mineral is its optical character. The intensity of the luminescence is related to the frequency and intensity of stimulating source. Saturation doses of 5 kinds of feldspar, labradorite, anorthoclase, cleavelandite, albite and microcline, are determined with infrared stimulated luminescence(IRSL). There are 4.5,14, 6.8, 24 and 30 kGy correspondingly for α dose and 230,400,100,40 and 220 Gy separately for β dose. The maximum available ages are 1.6×10 5, 2.9×10 5,0.7×10 5,0.3×10 5 and 1.6×10 5 a for dating with these minerals by IRSL.
