Abstract: The energy spectra of the bremsstrahlung Xrays fr om the 6 MV medical linear accelerator are measured by attenuation analysis of the transmission data. An universal MonteCarlo program EGS4 is also used to calcu late the bremsstrahlung spectra of the 6 MV medical linear accelerator. The meas urement results are in good agreement with the calculation results.
