添加Al_2O_3和SiO_2的大晶粒UO_2芯块制备研究

Study and Fabrication of the Large Grain UO_2 Pellets by Adding A1_2O-3 and SiO_2 Powders

  • 摘要: 研究了Al_2O_3和SiO_2添加剂对UO_2芯块晶粒尺寸的影响。结果表明:加入少量的Al_2O_3和SiO_2,可有效促进烧结过程中UO_2芯块的晶粒度长大,过量加入则会阻碍烧结过程中UO_2芯块的致密化;在添加量一定的情况下,添加不同比例的Al_2O_3和SiO_2,对芯块晶粒尺寸有较大影响,只添加SiO_2,对芯块晶粒尺寸影响不大,Al_2O_3添加量增加,芯块晶粒尺寸随之增加;添加Al_2O_3和SiO_2促进UO_2芯块晶粒长大的机制是在烧结期间发生了液相烧结。

     

    Abstract: In the paper the effect of addition of A12O3 and SiO2 powders on the grain size of UO2 pellets is studied. The results show that the doping with small amount of A12 O3 and SiO2 powders can promote grain growth during sintering, but an excess of additive leads to suppression of pellet densification, when the sum of A12O3 and SiO2 powders is constant the different proportion of additives can also effect the grain size of UO2 pellets after sintering, when only the SiO2 powders are added, the grain size of UO2 pellets hardly changes, but with increasing of A12O3 powders, the grain size of UO2 pellets grows up, the liquid phases form along the grain boundary during sintering due to doping with A12O3 and SiO2 powders, which enhances the grain growth.
