Abstract: The odd-shaped fuel particles are one of main source of failure in fuel element fabrication. The sorting of the odd-shaped fuel kernels and coated fuel particles is carried out by the inclined vibrating plate. The separation efficiency of odd-shaped particles is about 95%.
